TREASURE NFT A Dangerous Online Fraud
In the last 12 hours, Pakistani users have invested a whopping $144 million (Rs. 44 billion) in a suspicious app called TREASURE NFT.
This scheme is close to becoming the biggest online scam in Pakistan’s history. The public has lost their minds in greed. People are taking loans from banks, borrowing money from friends, and even mortgaging jewelry and land deeds of their homes – just in the hope that the profits will double.
Unfortunately, the consequences of this fraud can be very serious. When these people disappear, the shock will be unbearable for many victims. We fear that God forbid, incidents like suicide may also be seen.
This platform neither has any legal status nor does it provide income based on any skill or expertise. It is just a fake scheme in which users are only being encouraged to deposit money and involve others.
The terms NFT and blockchain are being used in a misleading way, while the reality is that neither these NFTs have any real use, nor are there any records of them on the blockchain.
According to the latest reports, the withdrawal facility has been closed, which is a clear sign that these people are going to run away with the money soon.
